Follow a family from Canada. They were farmers, Christian with 8 children. They were not welcome in their own country. The have been in Russia for around 8 or 9 months and have purchased acres and are nearing completion of their home and as they homeschool, they have build a small schoolhouse next to the home. The parents and children - older ones have virtually built the home, except for electricals and plumbing. These kids are amazing. So polite and caring for their younger brothers and sister. While they are rushing to finish the home, they have had many film crews follow them. Putin recently introduced a new law; foreigners do not need to learn the Russian language in a year but has been extended to 3 years. After that time they can become full citizens. They absolutely love it. Every other day the mailman brings heaps of gifts. The generosity of the Russian people is unbelievable. Areen (Dad) has just spent 3 days in a Russia hospital having his gallbladder removed. The care was much better than in Canada. But he said they made him stay for 3 days to keep an eye on him. 😀. Areen cannot sit still for a moment! There are many, many foreigners moving to Russia. They are actually helping a new family with settling into Russian life atm. Putin puts the family at the top of his priorities and does everything for them. The families that moved out of Ukraine and into Russian territory after loosing everything as the Ukrainian military burned and blew up their homes in Mariupol, have been given brand new homes for free. Those housed first were those with families, then the elderly.
