The LAST thing we need is a religious theocracy. You want to believe in your specific flavor of Christianity? Fine. Don't tell me I have to believe in it.
I don’t believe that’s what is happening here fren. Freedom is the cornerstone of true Christianity. Free will with the freedom to choose is paramount to our Father’s will. Even Jesus Himself instructed us to pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven - not to impose it on others. The communist satanic war mongering globalists are the tyrants taking away our freedoms. This is dark to light. BTW I did not downvote your comment.
So, there's spiritual Christianity, and there's the Christian church. The church is what worries me as they are ones who want to legislate Christianity into law. This is routinely countered by The Satanic Temple in often humorous but important ways. We cannot have laws that respect Christianity and not Satanism (this is not the kind that sacrifices children or animals...that's something else). We CAN ban the sacrifice of animals and children...but that would mean the jews cannot do their red heiffer thing, either (and we don't want them to because end times stuff...yeah). Meanwhile, atheists are rolling their eyes wishing all religions in general (including the devil worshipping pedo cults) would just perish and we would be left with a decently moral secular society.
I agree with your opening sentence completely. You separate there man made theology from spirituality. I as a Christian have a problem with denominations which are a fancy way to say divisions. God had nothing to with any of them.forming. all man made. I've met the least informed people concerning God's word in churches. The Bible says believers are of the Body of Christ and CHrist is the head. Not thr pope, not an ecclesiastical body or synod, not any man. Most of what calls itself Christianity isn't Christian at all but in name.
That's still a religion, albeit looser than the church. However, there is a lot of overlap between this generic form of Christianity and deism, pantheism, and panentheism (and panpsychism by extension). Taoism fits well within this worldview, too. I think the actual character of Jesus would be much better company than his followers, particularly the weaponized christian types who want to make America a theocracy.
