People have got to start verifying before sharing. No one commenting here or on X understands what is actually happening, they are just combining emotion with confirmation bias to reach a conclusion. Intentional or not, the dude in the video is pushing disinfo. Wall Street Apes has a bad habit of sharing BS content like this. Whatever gets clicks, right?
A few minutes of digging and I found out what's really happening. Congress gave FEMA taxpayer $ which they offer to people whose homes are damaged to the point of being unlivable. The $2500 is NOT to buy the property, it is to help people rebuild. If people do not take the money and do not make necessary repairs on their own, then their homes are being condemned. That's normal for any structure that is unsafe by the standards of local law.

Agreed, to say it's for lithium makes no sense because first of all they don't need to buy all the land to mine in the first place. In fact it was miners who rebuilt the road in record time because mining is already happening in the area.
Don’t sell.

Yes, you are correct, I’ve also heard that the initial $750 they got is a loan and they have to pay it back with interest.
