Migrant workers have been a "thing" in the US on farms for over 50 years.
There's absolutely NO MONEY in farming unless you're subsidized - which is bs.
There's no margins to hire Americans at or above minimum wage
There's a labor shortage for farm help and most don't want to work, especially at low pay and no bennies
Before anyone jumps on my shit, I've lived on and worked on farms my entire life. You have to love it... because you ain't getting rich and better know how to work the land, care for animals, turn wrenches, weld/fabricate and do damned near anything with next to nothing.
