Yeah, I had to dig through some files from a few years ago (it's like we're all having to re-learn everything!). Sorry, it wasn't Dr. Mengele, he was the clot from Auschwitz experimenting on people. It was Dr. Harvey Wiley, US chemist late 1800s doing experiments on food safety with a group of "test subjects" that were regularly fed meals in an experiments on preservatives commonly put in food at the time (formaldehyde, salicylic acid, sulfuric acid, borax, copper sulfate, and sodium benzoate were some of them). I remember seeing a video of that whole process, but can't find it on the fly at the moment. However in looking back at his biography (https://www.purdue.edu/retirees/history/PURA%20Historic%20Purdue%20Characters%20Project/Dr.%20Harvey%20Washington%20Wiley%20Historical%20Character%20Project.html), was this guy possibly in league with the cabal at the time? I ask because there sure seems to be a lot of "cabal related" awards for him (FDA named a building after him for example). So much stuff to sort through and re-learn.
