Glad he won!____ He had to spend $1 million +?, The courts are outrageous, he shouldn’t have needed to spend more than $50,000 for justice. We ned citizen juris to replace the bar associations attorneys and judges. ____ CNN’s attorneys should be sent on an assignment to whatever that site was at the bottom of the Atlantic where the billionaires’ submersible popped a while ago.
We don't need replacement, we just need reform. The system works when it isn't filled with Marxist subversion. Many of the insane rulings coming out of both state and federal courts in recent years would have been UNTHINKABLE 25 years ago to any 2L regardless of political affiliation.
Most good attorneys have been very silent about this subversion of the rule of law, just like most good doctors have been silent about the corruption of medical ethics. This silence has perplexed me, however.....
In the legal profession I believe we are going to see a coming together of attorneys who love the rule of law.
We have a brilliant one now in the role of VP. Moreover RFKJ is also an attorney. We have Alliance Defending Freedom (most of whom are Regent University law school grads).
The state licensing/regulatory bodies, law schools, and many of the states attorneys/district attorneys offices are riddled with anti-American leftists - just like every other institution. This can change very quickly, and the mandate is now there.
I believe during Chapter 47 we will see radical change (cleanup) of all this.
Good points. Alliance Defending Freedom are great, the Founder spoke at my graduation. For California, where the attorneys can charge $500 to $1,099 an hour, I think they are 5x to 20x overvalued,. and they should be at least complemented by practitioners from different fields to reduce inflated costs. Real estate agents for real estate law, elder care psychologists and doctors and investment advisors for elder issues.
There is a lot of room for reform. I think we will see the rise of a parallel legal structure in terms of access to legal services etc. The same in medicine - the alternative model direct primary care for example, which already exists. The legal profession needs the same type of reform.
+1 interesting and good comparison!
Give those people some mercy. They can pick berries for the rest of their lives with a training collar around their necks or pick litters the rest of their lives.
The courts are another that need to be disbarred.
they can learn to code
Yes.
My first thought is “mercy me!” but it seems I should remember to be humble, and just +1 what you wrote and write “mercy them.”
Mercy them is right. LOL
We’ll see that’s the thing.. James, I feel, is more pissed about what Project Veritas did than CNN and the $$. They fire him, but then take credit for James’s win. So it’s bitter sweet. He literally gets fired for putting up a fight against companies like CNN, then said company gloats “they won!” James will officially win when he defeats Project Veritas. And hopefully he records the whole thing for us.👍
+1 key take
