Have been in Industrial Sales my entire adult life. Can't take it anymore! Head of household, ALL expenses fall on me. Anyone be willing to share how they trade their time to pay bills? Need some ideas what possibilities are out there.
Could be a mid-life crisis. I know I NEED a change!
Many Thanks!

I'm in industrial manufacturing myself so we share at least a similar working environment. If we are at the verge of a new dawn for American manufacturing perhaps something in this field wouldn't be to difficult for you to transition into. Seems like we might need all the experienced people we have to restart the industry after years of off shoring.
This is true. I woke up this morning and thought MAYBE it is the company that is the challenge! I am optimistic about the future. I am also a bit frustrated with making other people lots of money...
I understand your frustrations fren. We all experience these moments in various ways throughout our lives. I feel for you as I've felt the same way especially when you're picking up the slack for the lower achievers without any recognition for it. I sincerely hope you find the answers you seek and in doing so find a better working environment.
Thank you fren. I don't even want recognition. I am starting to believe it is the company I work for that brings me down. I am tired of making greedy people money. I am not struggling THANK GOD! and am certainly not making enough to put away for a this thing I have only heard about called retirement.
Well, if you're just looking for a hobby, why not pick up an instrument or learn another skill you're interested in? Sometimes, those small changes can bring renewed joy in a relationship and bring your family closer.
Just an idea and good luck 👍
Funny you should say that. I just bought myself one of those steel "drum" like instruments Monday. I am hoping to be excited about something in the day to day.
My husband is a metal fabricator and he does a lot of work on the side for people in exchange for things.
I am on the sales end and don't actually produce anything. It may be the company I am currently working for. I am also tired of making others people lots of money and not struggling, but not enough to save enough.
I hear you.

I found this YT vid that might help you understand happiness. You might have to watch it two or three times in order to understand the accent. (He talks kinda fast). I do believe there is a lot of wisdom in his words, but you will have to sit there and contemplate those words to fully understand their meaning. Good stuff.
THANK YOU!
I retired out of the Postal Service. Talk about a hard life due to having to contend with Unions. Ugh. I just sucked it up and told myself every single day, "Life sucks, you are on the bottom rung of a tall ladder and you will never EVER reach the top." As long as your mindset is set so low you should never have any problems. If you tell yourself that life is full of roses and pretty sunsets you are asking for problems. Find happiness in the little things in life, a loving family, the ability to tackle small tasks and finish them, having more brain power than the majority of SJWs combined. Fren, you are smart enough to ask for assistance, but only YOU can find that happiness you so yearn for. Look for it, it is out there. Once you grab it, then understand how it made you happy. If you think finding another job will be the golden ticket, then do it. Cut out whatever is making your life miserable.....but remember there will always be bad days in your life. Don't dwell on one day for weeks or months. Let it go. Remember, life sucks, but it's how you deal with the disappointments that sets you apart from the mindless croweds. Good luck, fren!
THANK YOU! I am at a loss for what true happiness is. It has been at least a decade since I felt lasting joy. Moments of it, sure, never seems to stick. I will not give up. I am inspired by President Trump to never surrender just finding it difficult to find what I truly love. Yes, life sucks and I am wiping the sh*t off my shoes. Thank you! I appreciate the words of wisdom and the reminder, this too shall pass.
