I should have written this one down sooner because as the morning draws on more and more of it fades, but here it goes...
(Not the full dream, but the part that I remember the most)
My brother and I are about to start watching a movie. In the dream, he calls it "Scream" but it's not the same movie we know of the serial killer in the white ghost mask.
The movie starts off with showing 1 person, a woman, panicked, sitting down at a desk in dark call center or agency like room, no cubicals, just open space. As she sits down, she starts singing a song to herself,.. for some reason I want to say the 12 Days of Christmas, ... but as she starts getting to the third or fourth verse, her face starts to become strained into a painful over stretched joker smile as her fingers come up to point at her face, and her eyes close, and she's stops singing as it becomes harder to do the more her lips stretch into a smile, and she becomes petrified or frozen in place.
And then more people start to come in, taking their seats, some less panicked than others,.. and I start to recognize some of these people, senators, actors, (I remember seeing Jack Black in there. I can't recall anyone elses faces, but in the dream, I could recognize who these people are).
And one by one, they start taking their seats, and start singing 12 Days of Christmas, and again, by the third or fourth verse, they are frozen in place with the same creepy joker like smile on their faces, with their hands or fingers pointing towards their faces or smiles.
The room is soon filled with people like this,.. 100, 200, the same thing happening.
For some of them, they are still conscious, just frozen in place, unable to move. For others, they are completely gone, unconscious, or dead.
Some of them have gone into this large tank, sitting in 2 or 3 rows of about 10-15 seats. And then a man comes in. (I don't recognize the man, not his face, not as an actor or prominent person of interest). ... and he walks over towards the tank, filling it with water while these frozen people are still inside. The tank doesn't even get up to half way yet ask the man starts to walk away, but the camera cuts back to the tank, focusing on 2 or 3 of the peoples faces (not recognized) as the water starts to fill up past their necks and over the top of their heads.
And that's all I remember of the dream.
The take away I can think of is that this large group of people have been inflicted with a poison or disease that will petrify them anyways. And that the singing of 12 Days of Christmas is either a ritual to try to stop it, or it's a way for them to countdown how long until the effects of the poison/disease take hold, even though it's all relatively within the same timeframe.
The feeling I get from the water tank portion is some of the people might be dead in the group of above 20-30 of them... but just to make sure, while they are frozen in place, they are executed by drowning by the nameless unrecognizable man.
And I will reiterate, the people in this dream are mostly, if not all, people of power or influence, people WE are supposed to know or have seen.
And even though I know it was a dream, I just can't get over the creepy smiles they all are forced to wear as they become frozen in place.
I'd like to clarify, they aren't smiling because they want to. In the movie in this dream, the smiles are being forced because of the poison or disease they all share, like it's their bodies weird reaction, not that it's conscious or controlled.
For some people in the dream, they embrace what's happening, and smile anyways before they become petrified, but for most, they are scared and unwilling, but sing the song anyways.
The biggest question is how much of it came from your own subconscious understanding of what's going on versus external concepts coming in. It's not improbable that this is your translation of what you know + what you deduce.
Could be that it's bad actors being forced to act good (still comes off as grotesque) knowing they're going to get punished anyway yet maybe they're still avoiding public ruination. Their last acts playing good are frozen in time.
Or it's the same bad actors still being forced to do wrong, still held by the same blackmail/extortion and going down still obeying. Would the outward show, pointing to their own rictus-taken faces, mean the same in both cases?
Party of the interpretation relates to the emotions and thoughts evoked in you at observing all this. It's framed as being a movie, a horror movie- I don't watch those, so in not sure what that's supposed to evoke, unfair deaths, justified deaths, good guys win, bad guys win...? What's your feeling and expectation about sitting to watch a horror movie? (If it's your invention or if it's a message from outside, your precursors are still important.)
As best as I could, I described what I saw from this portion of the dream without trying to add my personal emotions to it.
Recalling how I felt in watching it, (I don't personally watch may horror shows or movies, only very specific suspense or thriller films),... in the dream I was... hmm... captivated by a curious grotesque awe... like it's so disturbing, but you can't help but watch, wanting to but can't look away.
The singing of 12 Days of Christmas felt ... semi ritualistic, but also, like it was a countdown, or count up? (because they started with 1st day of christmas, getting up to 3 or 4 until they couldn't sing anymore and stopped, frozen in time.) A weird gauge of time passing, but gauging what, I don't know, at least not off the top of my head, besides time. If someone else was happening, it wasn't apparent to me.
The people inside sitting inside the water tank, like I said, there was enough room in there to fit 2-3 rows of 10-15 chairs each row,.. so approximately 20-30 (45) people at a time. While they were sitting, they were already frozen with those smiles be the time the unrecognized man came to start filling up tank with water with the people inside.
Again, same curious awe, but knowing that with the people frozen as the water filled, they were going to drown and die if they weren't already dead and just petrified by still conscious. My conscious brain trying to rationalizing conscious brain wondering if it's because the man in the movie thought there was no other way, no way of taking a chance that these people could be faking or that they could find a way to free themselves, or someone else free them, so this was an execution method that by drowning them while they were frozen was the only way to ensure they were, infact, dead.
The 'watching a movie' part,.. me and my brother is interesting. I don't have a bad relationship with my brother. We don't talk much, but he comes over whenever we have family dinner together, and we chit chat. So for use to sit down to watch something, and it's a horror movie named "Scream" (again, not the one we know of with the ghost faced serial killer) ... I remember reading the description of the movie in the dream.. but only remember the first few words... "After 7 years of ..." and that's all I recall.
The numbers seem important but I'm not up on all those meanings yet, barely getting into looking at triples and repeats of those. Not sure if the movie name is crucial, but it definitely evokes a particular story and image for you, although the context of what you saw sounds like Joker and his poison thing making his victims' faces contort horribly. That was actually in the comic books as far back as the 70s IIRC. And based on observations of victims of gas weapons in wartime. The fact that some are dead right away but some only frozen to die powerless sort of doubly horribly might be significant too, like there's an equation around level of surrender, cooperation, guilt, etc to determine their final fates. (Wow, I'm typing this and a sudden storm just blew in outside, wind and darkness, heavy rain, lol- ominous!)
I just commented on someone else's reply with the suggestion of a journal in the nightstand with a clip light. Because in the end I don't think there's a universal meaning of dreams, I think it's very personal and you're the best-equipped person to recognize your own input versus anything coming in from the zeitgeist or other sources. And as to other sources, pray, pray, pray the Christ and your guardian angel keep only His messages coming through and shield off anything else.
For all of us, the prayer of Saint Michael the Archangel is really important now.
I wonder if your subconscious is replaying a jumbled conglomeration of some of what you may be reading here at GAW that may have made an impression on your mind - consciously or subconsciously. Check out the comment by FI, three below the large American flag, from Tuesday's GC --

Edit-- if I had to guess, talk of Hollywood stars being held to account for evil actions as they face their imminent demise, the Potatus' recent broad clown smiles (like when meeting with President Trump at the WH yesterday) being a topic of discussion here (and, truly, some of the pics of him are a little creepy), talk of masks, of military tribunals, talk of several movie stars being in compromising videos or fleeing the country, anons commenting that it's going to be a good Christmas (as justice is served up). Water is information and as it/truth flows forth they'll be inundated and "ended" by it. Talk of flooding, etc. Anyway, that's just my guess here as all the elements of your dream, to me, appear to speak to an unavoidable reckoning of "prominent" individuals unfolding before our very eyes.
Huh. I usually only visit GAW every other day to see what might be going on or said, and I don't really catch the General Chats,.. but FI's comment starting with "After 7(+) years of..." is... interesting.
It's very possible my dreams are a combination of these things, of my feelings and such in a way to process or make sense of. But again I have had experiences in my life where my dreams have had personal prophetic messages.
