Any smart device or appliance in your home that has internet access and is linked to your phone or home computer is vulnerable through networking. The firewalls in these devices is very weak. The guy in the video is correct. The safest thing to do is do not connect a device to the internet. Anything that is connected to the internet can be hacked.
