clearly this photo was taken by someone else.. most likely in their house. that is definitely not an Amish house. Amish help that we hire will use many modern conveniences, they just can't own them. they help us with field work, combining corn, driving tractors, utv's and other vehicles on the farm, they will not own anything that is licensed. They are awesome workers, highly skilled craftsmen and great people. they choose to live like ALL Americans did before electricity. they live that way by choice, which is theirs to make.
