It brings the military and spy agencies into the game re surveillance/intelligence gathering.
Intelligence gathered can be shared with federal agencies INCLUDING IMMIGRATION - people traffickers.
Assets can be seized and liquidated in any country in the world.
Military attacks are allowed, flying a plane full of cartel shit, processing drugs etc all subject to lethal force. Predators, seal teams etc all come into play.
If the reports that celebrities and other elite types are dealing in people smuggling organised by declared terrorists are they then caught by the anti terrorism laws? Hello P Diddy and co?
Use the Patriot Act for what it's good for then eliminate it. They never used it for what it was for anyway; might aswell use it to get rid of what they allowed in.
