Yes, and that's not the half of it.
The governor's race in Utah is suspect. Phil Lyman won the GOP nomination for the primary, but sneaky RINO Spencer Cox did whatever it is that he does to secure the nomination for the general election. There was a write-in campaign for Lyman, but he lost handily.
Utah is a sanctuary state, but that's on the down low.
Every time I see someone online talk about Utah politics, someone says that the churches here tell people how to vote, but that's not true. What's actually happening is democrats vote in the Republican caucus and the primary. Salt Lake County is as blue as it can be, and so is the entire Park City area. BUT there are few people voting. If you look a the Salt Lake County mayor's race, only around 300,000 people voted. Republicans aren't getting out there to vote. And illegals are certainly voting. As I recall from my last license renewal, voter registration can happen when you get your license.
Recall that Salt Lake City was named the "gayest city" in America fifteen or twenty years ago. The HRC is based in SLC. SLC had a gay mayor for a long time. And everywhere I go there are Californians. So many Californians. Like everywhere. I can point to their homes homes in my area because they build enormous homes that most people from here can't afford on a Utah salary, and then it jacks up the prices. Then they tell you how much it sucks here. But I digress.
The map is strange, so i think it needs validation.
At most I would be willing to entertain that more would be Trump voters stayed home in 2024 than 2020, but without those numbers and the fact that illegals are likely voting just screams fraud to me. Has the California migration ramped up significantly enough since 2020 to affect that many Utah counties?
This map was posted in a pol thread that was archived after 5 posts: https://boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/488810120
One reply called out the Utah anomaly, but if not all the blue counties on this map could be suspect.
They are already super red I highly doubt that's unnatural.
The fact that they are super red is why it doesn't make sense that the majority of Utahn counties would vote more for Kamala than they did for Biden. It just does not make sense in my mind that Kamala would be more popular than Biden in the majority of Utah counties when Grand (Moab) and San Juan (sizable chunk of Navajo Reservation) counties went redder than 2020. To me, those two should be indicative of the trend for the state, not be outliers, due to the amount of liberal voters who live in those counties.
