While I'm all for getting rid of the DOE and returning education to the states. I think this is something that should be abolished later in the term. What do I mean by that... We need to use the DOE to enforce nationally patriotic education, there are 2 genders boys and girls, and mandate that schools eliminate dei in their teachings. The left imposed this on us, it's time we impose the right teaching on America. Then after 3.5 years the states Edu will have been bent back into shape and we get rid of the fed DOE. I know this isn't ideal but I think we should definitely should consider this option b4 going to town while it still exists. Let me know your thoughts

Probably a good idea but I wouldn't wait 3.5 years. Maybe 1.5 years like the DOGE dateline. We wait too long and there may be a stronger fight against closing it down.
All I'm trying to say is we should leverage whats there and remove it B4 someone else gets their hand on it. But idk I'm just trying to do the thought exercise here and see how we can leverage certain areas of govt with the eventuality of returning it to the local levels. For example New Jersey used to have one of the most comprehensive systems of education in the world but the Dems stripped it from them under Obama. But now the Dems occupy NJ and we shouldnt let Dems queer the kids in public schools. (I'm all for school choice but school in the North East is definitely a lot different than the rest of the country) plus NJ is being destroyed by Dems/communists.
NJ is just about fully controlled by the communist unions.
And the problem is the teachers are on board with the dumbed down, woke commie curriculum... Not because they necessarily believe in the agenda{though more and more do-"selective" hiring}, but because they won't let go of the cushy schedule and guaranteed promotions/pay rise/pension.
In the short term, the department of education is on probation for 5 years with the stipulation they must introduce a new curriculum that implements the Constitution and the bill of rights as mandatory courses, and turn away from special interest classes. Every teacher is on a five year contract. At the end of the five years, they will be judged by the merit system, not by the capability to toe the company line.
It's the only way to fix it.
