MIRV conventional warheads. Weapon plasma, because of the speed, lighting up the cloud.
If 'MIRV', wouldn't they hit simultaneously, especially at hyper speed?? I see 6 separate 'events'....
Russia launched six large missiles that then released 5? 6?7? Smaller missiles that we see coming down in this video. The distance hides the smaller ground explosions from us while the cloudy night sky amplifies the light of the higher altitude activity.
No, they are all self maneuvering to hit their own targets. The drag from that is slightly different.
MIRV warheads can be sequenced and/or steered to hit the same or differing targets.
Warheads can impact targets up to 1500 kms away in some circumstances from a Russian ICBM, not sure about differeng MIRV range capability of their theater weapons which this was.
For instance, Russia has the capability to drop ICBM warheads in a ring around a large metropolitan area ensuring maximim destructive force, or split them among several smaller targets hundreds of kilometers apart.
maybe....but where's the 'explosion' on the ground?
