My wife is a Filipino who has acquired her US citizenship, and the Philippines was once a part of the US, but yeah deport the illegals of any flavor. As someone of the Filipino persuasion whose family immigrated legally, went through the proper channels, integrated culturally, and built a home and livelyhood from the ground up.... good. GTFO, do things the right way, pay your dues and earn your place. Ideally I think the US, should clamp down legal immigration to a trickle to begin with, I mean hundreds annually nationwide until the country boots out the criminals and freeloaders.

My dad came here in the 50's to restore a cathedral in Ohio. He was a painter. He came legally. Paid dues. Became a good citizen. Ended up becoming one of the first computer programmers for NCR. 45 years.Helped his community. He met mom in Ohio. Her great grandparents came from Germany. I was born in Ohio as were my 3 brothers. Dad took NCR transfer to California. He kept warning us to quit giving up our rights. He flipped when seatbelt law passed. He kept saying it's all done on your best interest until you wake up to realize it's not. Dad passed June 22nd at 91. He was praying Trump to win. He reminded us that his hometown of Muenster Germany was destroyed along with much of the world because people were fools and went with every lie Hitler spewed. Many many Germans were not for Hitler. Dad's was 10 when the bombs were dropping. He saw a lot of horror and death. He opened up in last 10 years here and we recorded much of what he told us. He said the people need to stop looking for easy fixes and rely on themselves, moral and responsible behavior and help each other. Do not let your government be your daddy. Keep your eye on God first and foremost. Focus on self reliance and care of your community.
