I consulted a legal dictionary and it states "A pardon is a governmental decision to absolve an individual for a criminal conviction, often times freeing him from all or part of the punishment imposed at sentencing." In other words, one can pardon only a specific conviction. It is not possible to pardon crimes for which there are no convictions. It is not necessary (or possible) to pardon indictments.
I think there is a vali test against this "above the law" pardon as not being within the meaning of the word as used in the Constitution. Whether or not Biden is discovered to be an impostor president, this may still need to go to the Supreme Court.
