Just saw a commercial where the people were excited about watching a pharmaceutical commercial

I'm watching the Hallmark Channel and just saw a commercial where a guy is watching TV when he calls out "Hey a pharmaceutical commercial is about to come on!" And all his friends excitedly come running.

Are they trying to get us to believe that we the people demand our pharmaceutical commercials so when RFK Jr tries to ban them we'll cry out "Save the pharma ads!" ?
