Hi. Does anyone have information on dementia and ivermectin and its potential on helping those suffering? My mother-in-law is battling it at the moment. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I would do anything to help her.
Thank you in advance.
The brain needs saturated fat. In the short term, coconut oil will help a lot and is the fastest practical treatment. (Eaten, not topical, just in case anyone wondered.) Long term, dietary changes to include more saturated fat will solve it.
You won't find published studies, or they will be vastly outnumbered by lots of other contradictory stuff, because cures don't get published.
I don't know if ivermectin helps with dementia.
I know drinking water and cholesterol can help with clarity and cognitive function for dementia. It's degenerative though it would seem, once it starts, you can only slow it.
Absent some cure I'm not aware of.

Look into DMSO ✝️🙏🏼♥️
Coconut oil.
Was she on cholesterol medication?
My wife says no, she is only on BP meds, however, I thought I remember her being on a statin years ago.
Statin drugs is what stops the cholesterol to the brain.
I am old enough to remember that people got dementia but not Alzheimers.
Alzheimers became prevalent after stating were used.
I just saw this recently on TC. Dr Mark Hyman discusses preventative diet can reverse early on set Alzhiemers & Dementia
Time stamp should be at 20:00 minute mark if it didn't embed correctly. It's not much, but informative and worth the few minutes in which they discuss it. The whole episode is great of course if you have time. Prayers to you and your family concerning this battle.
Edit: Not sure of the data, but you may want to look into psilocybin microdosage as a possible treatment.
Thank you all for the replies. I do appreciate it!
feed her coconut oil. Some people made remarkable recoveries when they consumed it regularly, and it's good for you!
