So remember back in the days around 9/11 when Ashcroft was singing at the Moonie church in South Korea and one of the federal buildings was used to coronate Sun Myung Moon as King of the World or something along those lines (hey, it was a while ago). I did a deep dive on this back then and found that there were tons of pols on both sides of the aisle that got in bed with the Moonies. Even Rumsfeld was hanging out with that gang. I've always kept that info tucked away for future reference. I'm going to dig it out of my archives and shake off the dust to take a look at it. It might be relevant. Back then Sun Myung Mooned owned the Washington Times. He died in 2012, but I have always wondered what was going on between our gubment and the weirdo Moonies. I've always suspected it was a CIA vehicle.
Worth noting that Sun Myung Moon was completely reviled and attacked by the establishment (Mockingbird media, mainstream churches) everywhere.
He was very strongly anti-communist (established a "International Victory Over Communism" organization (IFVOC)), and was constantly declaring (speaking out) about the problems that we have come to see in American today: The decline of Christianity in the 60s and 70s, the degrading morality of the general society and youth in particular, due to the infiltration of communism and Marxists into society.
He established the Washington Times in 1982, reportedly because there was no non-Marxist (Leftist) publication in Washington. Even today, the Washington Times is a strongly conservative paper among all the mainstream Leftist rags.
He did cultivate influence in the political sphere, reaching even top echelons of the so-called "right". Very strong supporter of Reagan. Curiously, he was widely welcomed in the US as an evangelist up until the time he declared support for Nixon during the Watergate Crisis. From that moment forward, the establishment media attacked him relentlessness as "brainwashing" the youth of the world.
He mobilized his followers to organize a campaign of "Forgive, Love, Unite" around Nixon. Did he understand that the DS was attempting to Destroy Nixon?
I don't think he was CIA. I think rather that the CIA was mobilized to try to destroy him. A powerful evangelist decrying the infiltration of Marxism into America in the 70s' and 80s? They must have hated that. I think if he was CIA, the media would have extolled him, instead of trying everything to make him look evil.
Over the years of my research, I took some time to read through many of t he postings at TParent aka True Parent. The news letters of his own church promoted him as a demigod. This was not the work of MSM, but in his own words (or those he had write on his behalf). With he demands on his followers for money, adoration, and strict adherence to his many bizarre requirements, you'd have to work pretty hard to convince me that the Moonies were anything other than a cult.
