What are you talking about? Trump has sold perfumes for years...before he ran. He also had/was wine, books, steak, let alone his campaign merch.
He👏🏾is👏🏾a👏🏾businessman.
Here is his perfume from 2004-20 years ago

Like...wtf are you talking about 'paytriot?'
I never understood this kind of criticism, to be honest. I mean, if someone is obviously shilling out and allowing what they say and do to be absolutely ruled by making a quick buck, well that's one thing. But Trump has always had a sales aspect to him - and if people want to buy his products, then what's the problem, exactly? It's not like he's putting a gun to our heads and demanding that we buy anything from him.
This "paytriot" thing just seems like a poor excuse to find criticism, when there isn't actually any criticism to be had; he's just marketing his brand. That's kinda what he's always done, long before he even came down the escalator.
Note that this goes for every so-called "paytriot" who isn't just selling themselves to the highest bidder. If you don't want to buy it, then just don't buy it, and move on.
Absolutely. President Trump NEVER took his Presidential Wages the entire time of his first term. He always gave it back to We the People in some form like giving to our Veterans. I see nothing wrong with what he is doing by making money with his own ideas. We all know he will most likely not take any Presidential pay this time either.
I haven't either. Yes, it's one thing when somebody claims to be doing something good but actually mostly doesn't, or just claims to be something people like, but then just uses that claim to sell his merchandise and is ready to change his image to something else if it starts to look like that might sell better, but when it is somebody who actually IS doing something useful - well, you can't live from good deeds only, and actually doing those good deeds does usually also need money and you have to get that from somewhere.
In case of Trump for starters getting enough votes to get elected needed for him to make sure enough people knew he was running and knew what he was planning to do so they could then decide they wanted him as the president enough so that they then went and voted for him. And all that took money. A lot of money. Those rallies, and everything else, weren't cheap. Just for him to travel to and from them presumably cost quite a bit more than most people, even well off people, earn in a year. And even if he is pretty damn rich even he would presumably start to run out of money if he just used what he has and didn't try to raise more by whatever means he has.
So why not get at least some of that money back by selling products people are not only willing to buy but actually want to buy?
