I really can’t say how happy it makes me that he made it to be a part of DOGE, especially after his stroke a few years ago.
Just for fun, best comments from that video.
Nearly 30 years later: Ron Paul still fighting for freedom, Morton Downey Jr. is long dead from lung cancer.
Whats ironic is Ron Paul was probably the only person there not on drugs
The irony being that just 8 years after this was filmed Morton was diagnosed with lung cancer and had to have a lung removed. He used to be a member of National Smokers Alliance (think of it as a Libertarian group for smokers) but after his diagnosis quit and became a staunch anti-smoking advocate. He would die 5 years later in 2001. One of the most shocking moments for me was when Morton says that if the government outlawed cigs he'd be happy because then he would quit. The advice of a doctor sitting in front of him meant nothing to him so long as the government says it's okay to smoke. Stunning.
these people were the voting populace for the past 30 years......i understand now why the country got into the mess its in
You’re a little overweight, why don't you have the Government put you on a diet?
The court scene in Idiocracy had to be based on this episode.
Have you seen this? One of my favorite clips of Dr. Paul.
