Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Rules For the rest of the Site also accessible on the sidebar.

I'm sorry to hear this fren. If you are on Telegram (which I highly recommend if you aren't already), join the channel called Natural Health Knowledge Chat (NHK Chat) and search on COPD. I just did this and found 141 hits.
This channel is a goldmine of open source intelligence for "Kennedy Medicine" (as opposed to Rockefeller Medicine), for every condition imaginable. It will definitely help you get started.
I was invited to join a couple Telegram groups when my husband had prostrate cancer and we used the Tippens Protocol...I didn't but I have always been intrigued by utilizing that platform...especially for alternative medicine. Did you give your phone number and is it an easy site to navigate? I am terrible with technology and it is hard for me to delve into new experiences but I feel it could be very rewarding. Any info about your experience with Telegram would be helpful.
Hi fren, I find Telegram easy to navigate. I find the interface and functionality very similar to Whatsapp (which I don't use).
You do need to give a phone number to Telegram, however, you can use a burner phone if you don't want to use your regular number.
Regarding Telegram content in general - I joined it after the 2020 election in order to follow Lin Wood. I have learned A LOT during my time at Telegram; it seems to be somewhat of a hub for anons. There are many outstanding channels, and the sheer volume of EXCELLENT content every single day means I don't have time to read it as deeply as I would like.
My three daily go-to places for info (in no particular order) are:
I cannot imagine my life for the last 7+ years without all three of these platforms. I would not give up any of them unless I was forced to.
I also keep in touch via Telegram with a few anons that I have met in my travels (in the realm of Truth - a state of mind, not a geographical place!). So it's a wonderful vector for friendship as well, and so easy to share videos/posts/memes with other frens.
Thank you...I was reddit, voat then GAW so I have been online since the early days. I may tap you for more info once I am brave enough to venture out. I am trying to decrease my time on social media so I wrestle with the need to add something more but this is the only news and learning I have (besides books) so I may have to push myself a little. I think we are on the same page with what we use social media for. Who are you on X so I can follow you? I appreciate your help...do you have kitties? I have 3...rescue siblings since they were 3 weeks old.
VOAT was quite an education wasn't it? A time of great learning, that's for sure.
I know exactly what you mean about "trying to decrease my time on social media," so I don't want to encourage you in this regard kek.
I don't have kitties at the moment but wish that I did. I would love to have three! I hope someday to get some rescue kitties, but it's unlikely to happen for at least a few more years.
If you send me your username on X via DM I will look you up and ping you there :-)
