I’ve never been able to tell if the comms are push or pull, or both. Are they self-contained or do they need a cipher?
This sort of thing is well and good for noticing that comms are happening, but understanding what they’re saying is a whole other thing. I assume we aren’t supposed to understand what the comms mean, except in retrospect for maybe being able to see who did what?
I'm not smart enough to connect the dots, but I am smart enough to notice where the dots have been connected.
About the same, though I feel like I’m smart enough that if there’s a message to pull out, I should be able to, but I usually can’t. It’s why I tend to think they’re more triggers to something external, or markers that something has happened, rather than an instruction or explicit message.
They said “learn our comms”, though, and 7 years later I don’t feel like I really have.
