Ugh - time to check the origin of the garlic in my fridge. Damn these people! How the hell do we survive when they are contaminating everything and poisoning the rest?!
Grow your own food. Yes, its harder than it looks.
However, garlic is very easy to grow. That is, if you can keep the neighbor's cat from digging up the area where you planted the garlic and using it as a litter box. I did get some garlic to come up after that anyway.
Exactly. I try, but I do NOT have a green thumb.
I was just thinking now I have to buy everything from Misfit Markets.
I was thinking the local whole foods- not the chain but a local one!
Wish we could still grow it.
I’m looking into growing it next year! Found this— Believe it or not, the U.S. is the largest importer of garlic in the world, with the majority of the garlic we consume coming from China, Mexico, and Argentina. According to the University of California, China produces a stunning 75% of the world's garlic supply, and is also the source of 75% of U.S. imported garlic.

I ask myself this question every day.
I was wondering why all the garlic switched to those little bulb 3 packs the other day. They're all produced in China!
If you are to have any luck finding other sources, it's going to be the large, loose bulbs.
