Agree, i like it the way it is.
We definitely don’t need it for that reason anymore.
I can attest to this. My grandparents were full time farmers and they didn’t live by the clock, they lived their lives by the seasons. And, they didn’t like the time change.
My belief is the original reason for DST all the way back in 1918 is still the real reason, it is beneficial to businesses. Our Government does nothing to benefit ordinary citizens, and DST is no exception. After a year of leaving the clocks alone we won’t think about DST at all.

I agree. l prefer light more than darkness.
Arizona: oh look… Nobody cares 😂😂😂
DST might have been instituted for a different reason, but it was kept because it boosted the economy. People are more likely to shop after work and into later hours when it's light outside. It boosted the economy by billions. But I hate it and would prefer to live as God intended, not greedy politicians. My 2 cents.
Changing things without thinking the issue through is what has landed the "tolerant progressive utopias" of the West into the predicament they now face. We must be more discerning, please.
Year round DST was tried in the late '70s or early '80s. By the second winter, parents were screaming b/c their kids went to school in the dark. So they backed off.
We do not need DST anymore. That mainly was to increase wartime production during the winter. We won't go back!
