Would paintball guns reach them? Could that gum up the gears or mess up propellers?

I have a neighbor who showed me how powerful pellet guns can be & I wouldn't risk being shot in my skull by it within 20 yards. He was able to get through 3/8 plywood with the thing. Not sure if he modded it or not, though it was surprising how much power it had. I would imagine that would cripple those drones at the very least.

I've read that the drones are about 1000ft high; well above paintball height or any lower-power gun, even shotguns (except perhaps a shotgun shotting slug rounds)
