He didn't push it. He gave you a choice. He is not responsible for the decisions we make as individuals and people still trying to blame him for it are only using him as a scapegoat to avoid the reality that is they made a poor decision.

We all make bad choices in life. How we move forward after such is up to us as well. Crying and blaming someone else isn't going to solve anything. Take accountability for your own actions and work on being a better person going forward.
