Try Lord of the Rings, War and Peace, Beowulf together x 1000
I don't think that it's nearly 1.1 billion words, but I accept your exaggeration and agree.
Some of these bills are giving 40k a run for their money.
Lets make it 40k pages, then bring it to the floor 5 minutes before the vote. Cant believe people would even think about voting yes in that scenario.
I think there is literally a page in one bill discussing the regulation of space marines
Good way of putting it.
The bureaucracy and government are OUT OF CONTROL when they promulgate so many pages, no one person can understand them all.
The Congresscritters don't even read them.
Yet WE are expected to COMPLY with all!
I keep saying - give them all an ink pot and quill. It was good enough for their predecessors, it's good enough for them as successors.
YOU. SHALL. NOT. PASS!
Does he mean the whole trilogy or just one of the books?
Probably one book, but usually the word count is referred to as the trilogy.
188K words is still too many for a bill.
Every congressman should make it known that he or she will not vote for any law that they haven't been given the time to read.
