I 'get' vegetarianism, even though I would never want to be one.
But vegan? Eating unfertilised chicken periods which they lay anyway regardless of whether we consume them or not is cruel? And then pay through the nose for Bill Gates products made of 100 unnatural ingredients to look like the thing you're supposed to be against? For fuck's sake.

pisses me off that it takes up shelf space which should be for good quality animal produce. Non-meat produce should be sold in greengrocers.
Vegetarians and vegans were the initial test of whether people would accept synthetic substitutes.
Just like "I can't believe it's not butter" should have set off warning bells.
