The Donbas region was constantly being shelled by Ukraine--these are Russian people---and Russia stepped in to help---hence the "war in Ukraine" was started by the Nazi regime in Kiev with the blessings of NATO and the support of the DC elite. Anything to keep them dollars flowing into the coffers off shore!
The Bosporus Straits is where the Black Sea empties into the Mediterranean. They are in Istanbul Turkey and factored heavily in the Byzantines conquering Constantinople. There was a chain across the straits the Byzantine ships could not cross. Mehmet II had his ships bivouaced across the peninsula and set to sea behind the chain. Edit bivouaced is the wrong word. Brains not functioning at a high level yet.
Interestingly, even way before the Golden Horde, Crimea was a Greek colony and many of its cities are Greek in origin.
Us Canadians like to use the word "Portage", any chance we get. Have a Merry Christmas. I won't be Portaging this Season but I will be doing lots of snow shoveling.
History is fascinating. Esp when you start understanding the true history and can see the hands of the Cabal. In the new free world I think I will change my career to Historian.
Bubble I dream of the day when the Vatican Archives are opened to all historians. I have a strong feeling that much of the Library of Alexandria is hidden there. If these two sources of information were exposed to sunlight much of human history would change.
Im a civil engineer. But I have been fascinated by History since I got my first book about George Washington for Christmas when I was about 6. So during my 5 years of undergrad I spent an inordinate amount of time for an engineering student in History classes. Enough so that a couple classes after finishing my Masters got me a second major in History. Ive thought about retiring and teaching HS History. Maybe one day.
Today I take every free class that Hillsdale College offers in math and history. My favorite was "Geometry and Logic: From Euclid to Modern Geometry". If you want to cultivate a logical mind take Geometry courses and learn how to do proofs.
Although the headline here may be true, the photos used in the article linked are really lame examples. Yes, a few show things being spiffed up, but really, why would they compare a park in autumn (brown leaves) with the same park in summer (green leaves) ? The choice of comparative photos makes me question the validity of the writers narrative.

Today I learnt that Crimea used to be the capital of the Golden Horde and also is the same region known as Bosporus in some historical period.

Vessel Hauling is for big ships. Portage for smaller.
Thank you.
