Trump said not to trust Vivek during the election season.
The whole H1B situation is exposing Vivek as a Pro India first guy.
JD's wife is Indian as well.
People are also mad at Elon as well.
Could this also be a white hat exposure operation?

I am having a hard time making sense out of this thread. Apparently Vivek Ramaswamy made a post on X, and someone in this thread linked to it. I don't know if it is the one everyone is commenting on. It pertains to the need to expect and respect excellence as a cultural standard. As far as I am concerned, he is 100% on target, and I am speaking from a 50-year career in advanced aerospace engineering. It doesn't have anything to do with race, but it does show up in people from certain cultures, and it should be no surprise to anyone that Indians, Chinese, Japanese and Jews rate high in this area. And I am not talking about CEI hires, only those hired on merit. This used to be true in America, but we have watered down our standards and expectations over the past 4 generations (maybe longer, based on my review of my father's high school textbooks). Our literacy and mathematical abilities have been dropping steadily according to standardized international tests. This is no joke. I see it all the time, people not understanding their own language and being incapable of arithmetic. When we ourselves act no better than untaught immigrants, we have no place looking down on them.
I'm sorry, what exactly does your fabled "50-year career in advanced aerospace engineering" have to do with anything at all related to this discussion?
Are we talking about Vivek's X post on the need to up our game with respect to excellence? I worked in an industry where excellence was the only thing that mattered, and it came without any racial strings. Do you disagree with any of my points?
No actually here, I don't disagree with your points. I'm just pointing at that you don't need to bring up your "Advanced" aerospace engineering career, because that's irrelevant. Do you see anyone else on this website constantly bringing up their career background? There is something odd about someone who constantly brings up and references their "advanced aerospace career" and has to try to make it relevant to every discussion they have.
I'm sure your very proud of yourself, but normal people don't feel the need to do that so often, and humble person wouldn't need to do it at all, but you do it every other day.
I guess you don't understand. The subject was the general intellectual ability of people. I was in a position where I had a lot of experience with high performing people. It was relevant experience. Just like being on a sports team gives you some insight into the general physical capability of ordinary people.
