I'm sorry if the Word offends you. I do comprehend, the Word and Spirit guides me. To be set apart is different than being divided. To be divided, you have to be apart(partial) of it to begin with. The Canaanites are wicked/evil, to be evil is to be without God. God is set apart, because He is righteous and we are not. He was not dividing something He was apart of, He was destroying that which opposes Him. You cannot divide that which is your opposite from yourself, it was not apart of you to begin with
Is that all you can do? Search for a term and then cut-and-paste?
Do you even UNDERSTAND what was said in those versus -- by whom and to whom?
In Romans, Paul was writing to his fellow Israelite brothers, not his enemies.
He wanted HIS people to be united. That is a very different concept from being united with the enemies who are within.
BTW, you still did not respond to the SUBSTANCE of what I wrote.
I'm guessing that is because you do not understand the Bible, who was who, and so you cannot respond on point.
Do you know who the Israelites were?
Do you know who the Canaanites were?
Do you know why God wanted the Canaanites destroyed?
Do you know why God wanted HIS people (only) to be holy?
Do you know who Paul was?
Do you know why Paul wrote ONLY to his brothers in Europe?

But you can't actually answer any direct questions.
