Didn't the shooter seem to be a spook with no past?

Wasn't CP brought into the picture?

Wasn't the hotel owned by Alaweed?

What does everyone think that was actually about?

OK, I should have put it in quotes. The guy they pinned it on was known to locals so he didn't have a mysterious popped out of nowhere story.
