How is this money getting to Ukraine?
I think what is actually happening here is the money that is "send to Ukraine" is going through the hands of the military industrial complex. The are taking the money, and using it to line the pockets of politicians in Washington, pay themselves a goodly portion.
Then the MIC are shipping out to Ukraine weapons from stockpiles of old weapons that are past there expiration date, weapons that have already been paid for. Then they are taking what money is left after lining everyone pockets, and using it to rebuild stockpiles with newer weapons.
It is a combination of that.
The MIC gets to get rid of older gear and gets sweet contracts to make more, along with direct cash for 'relief' funding.
It is truly insane that FJB and Yellen decide to send billions more in the waning days of the FJB Administration.
Could you imagine the REEEE from Pravda if Trump had anything even remotely close to this as he was leaving office last time?
