Nothing of the sort. I despise them for what they are, but they are still transportation systems. "Telemetry" is the term for technical information on system performance that is transmitted to a central monitor: voltage, temperature, etc. It may also transmit position if it is linked to the car's navigation system. But hey, someone knowing where you are is part of the charm of owning one of these things! No one buys one if they aren't aware of this and consent to it.
