Let's add something else here, which is, imo, a key input.

Jimmy Saville was a BBC television celebrity who was raping kids for decades. He was also a very good friend of King Charles. No investigations of Saville's rapes have ever really been done to my satisfaction and certainly no investigation of his activities has ever found its way to the Windsor Family.

The reason? Keir Starmer, as near as I can tell.
