Maybe he was being blackmailed and forced to do this or his family would be harmed, he knew he would go up in flames anyway so he did it but took precaution to prevent injury / damage as best he could? I dont know - obviously he had the know how to cause much more harm if he wanted to. The Ft Bragg connection to the New Orleans and assassination attempt people must be followed up on but probably will not be because no three letter agency cares about the truth.

That was what I was thinking also that maybe they blackmailed him saying they would harm his family. Guess it's still a waiting game to see what else turns up.
