Having stakes in a company shouldn't auto-associate (pun intended) with guilt.

Is Elon guilty because a Cybertruck was used?

Are William and Alexandra Ford (large individual shareholders) at fault because a Ford pickup truck was used in New Orleans?

What about the large institutional shareholders of Ford (Vanguard Group and Blackrock)?
