I was discharged from past pcp for refusing screening labs, non-essential wellness labs, & all vax. I want to limit disclosure at the new clinic on the new patient paperwork, and lock internal clinic/external dissimination of all info to esp the new ins - BCBS. Can anybody offer a step by step for what to write & what to say to not piss them off. Anything will be appreciated

Don’t sign any black forms for medical sharing. One doctor tried to get me to sign a form to allow them to share my medical information with other doctors, but it was a blank form with no doctor that they wanted to share the information with listed. They said that they just keep this in their records whenever they want to share medical records they fill it in. I said absolutely not..
I did medical billing for over 25 years & they can access that information as part of Obumer ICD10 BS as long as they are your physician that allows other physicians to share medical information- if work with a hospital all records are linked - there may be a way around it but I bet for every way around they have another way around it - not to be a Debbie downer - maybe things are handled differently I quit the medical field just in time Dec 2019 God is good his timing is perfect
You cannot keep your Jab Status private, no matter what they tell you.
Your Vaccination Status Isn’t Private — Despite Media Claims to the Contrary
The fact is, your medical data are not nearly as private as you think. HIPAA is rife with exemptions when it comes to your privacy.
As a former nurse in a major hospital, we were told that the goal of electronic medical records was so if you were on vacation in California, but lived in say Florida, doctors could access to your medical records. It happens to be untrue, as far as I can tell. A family member had surgery at a major Cleveland hospital and unhappy with the after care, switched to the other major hospital. He was told that he would have to go to the original doctor’s office to sign a release for his records to be “sent”. What is the real reason for an electronic record? Government access?
Insurance co’s too. They are starting to algorithmically analyze coverage based on cost/benefit ratios et-cetera: using your history to hedge their bets.
Find Tucker Carlson’s recent podcast with Brigham Buhler - it is some crazy stuff.
I believe your doctor is under signed contract to perform certain functions. Often they won't reup. Decimalisation of your healthcare data among professional providers is essential. BCBS as the driver has it all and is the source of funds. There are laws that protect your personal health data from prying eyes. HIPAA laws are nothing to mess with. To get your much needed old records they need your permission. Just saying.
Prying eyes as long as that does not include government institutions.
