Blackrock, in particular, has pushed companies to follow ESG/DEI objectives, which has nothing to do with investing. It is all about pushing the agenda/fantasy utopia of what Blackrock CEO Larry Fink (a jew) wants. A lot of those companies fell in line and did what they were told, until a recent backlash.
Perhaps a Blackrock says, "Here Elon, take some free money. But clean up that Twatter thing, or there won't be anymore where that came from -- and our friends are thinking the same thing."
That is the issue, not the investment itself. It's the possible influence they have over Twatter, even though indirectly.
