They take months to even count their own election votes.
What will do they with all of the money?
Is there oversights of the funds?
Who will watch the watchmen?

Perhaps, this is just 1 reason for importing all the illegal aliens. To do coordinated arson attacks at the same time throughout California.. just 1 of the nefarious reasons.
There are lots of homeless and useless people who think it would be good to "burn it all down" they are actually doing it. They should be arrested. Many say they their plans online. Lots have been caught and released. They could be found. But the government doesn't do that because disasters help them.
Agree, but there is a lot of sick arsonists in the west. A ton of these fires are started by either people doing stupid shit like a homeless campfire or intentionally set. Most of the socal fires have been tied to individuals. Fully agree on the money they make, but socal is an arid climate, with canyons and the santa ana's. Housing is encroached right into the fuel load.
Can they do more prevention like controlled burns, fire breaks, increase defensive water storage and better forestry, absolutely. Dei is on full display and most of these areas that have been hit, like the palisades, are prog dems. They're eating their own dog food now.
BTW, this is only the beginning of the nightmare for them. Wait till next rain. This is socal life, fires, floods, mudslides, droughts and riots.
The cost of building materials will probably jump due to a demand to rebuild. Of course, that depends on whether one can get a building permit and afford the cost.
