Do they declare a mass evacuation so there will be no eye witnesses to the ongoing carnage? If the officials are worried about people dying, then they should instruct the people to just stans away from cars and very near trees. Trees seem to be the safest place to be in Cali during a fire.
Not the palm trees but the well watered leafy ones. With the wind and quickness the fire will miss some particularly
