As much as I want to kek at this, I’d also like to think we don’t have the same base level seething hatred for humanity that they do.

We should only hope good things for them if they repent. If they don’t, justice cannot be neglected. Given that they have known exactly what they’re doing, it’s not exactly difficult to assume that not many of them will repent, but it would still be better for them if they did.
The original Christians brought several Roman legionnaires into the fray, even as they were being pursued unto death. It can be done.
This is also why we need to learn their methods, so that unrepentance is observable.
