Hello, All,

I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and give you an update on Nenaa.

Here's the original post: https://greatawakening.win/p/19A1QHJSUD/prayer-request--24yearold-new-mo/

I went to Nenaa's house to see her this afternoon after finding out that she had checked herself out of the hospital and gone home. After the secondhand info I had been getting, I was relieved to see her with my own eyes. She looked way better than I expected.

She was pale and shakey, but happy to be home. She left the hopsital against the advice of the doctors because she was frustrated with what had been happening at the hospital. They were giving her morphine and dilaudid and other narcotics that were making her unable to keep track of what was happening to her, despite her more than once asking them not to give her dilaudid, which she was having a reaction to--it was causing a burning feeling in her face and neck and chest she said. As she said this morning, "I don't like not having control of my own body and my mind." But they did get her swelling down with IV steriods and antibiotics and her pain is under control. But she had only actually seen a doctor once in her three days in the hospital. She was NOT in the ICU, contrary to what I had originally been told. They have her on an antibiotic and are saying that when the infection is under control she'll need surgery on her jaw on the right side where the worst of the infection is. That doesn't quite make sense to me, but I didn't want to press her for information since she hadn't been home long when I showed up at her house. If her fever goes back up she is supposed to go straight to the hospital, she was told.

Apparently this started with a fall on the stairs at her home which caused an infection at her fallopian tube on the right side, something she's had an ongoing issue with. Then the infection spread to the other weak spot she had--a tooth she had temporarilty repaired while she was pregnant. So her whole right side was swollen up like a balloon and the swelling in her face was creating a lot of pain. But the swelling was much better when I saw her. And to my surprise she was very clear-headed and articulate about the ordeal.

She is now anemic and tired and dealing with the shakes, but she insisted she feels safer at home and wanted to be close to her baby.

One of you kindly provided this link: https://covid19criticalcare.com/protocol/sepsis-care/ (thank you, u/soabirw) . I had sent it to her via text while she was at the hospital, but I had printed it off too and so had it on hand to give her when I saw her this afternoon. Then I went and got some vitamin C powder my Mom had on hand since Nenaa is having trouble swallowing because of the swelling on the right side of her face. The rest of what she needs I will find and get to her asap, but at least she could start the vitamin C immediately. She promised to do so.

I so appreciate all of your prayers. She's much improved, but not out of the woods yet. We're all worried about her being at home, but after her description of her nights at the hospital, I understand her wanting to get out of there. She actually lives close to the hospital, so she can go back if she needs to, but she is hoping she will not need to.

Thank you again for the prayers. She was in dire straits. She is much improved. God is good. So are all of you prayer warriors. Continued prayers for her full healing are appreciated.

Thank you so much, frens. God bless you all.
