I’m a late 30s male, AD military, decent shape but I do have some heart issues (separate topic I’ve posted about). I have MTHFR gene mutation and probably half of you do too…. So first I want to say AVOID ENRICHED WHEAT FLOUR…. It’s in virtually everything carbohydrate-wise in America and contains folic acid, a synthetic version of Folate marketed as a B vitamin. Find 4-ingredient bread and Italian pastas if you need carbs.
To the point
My tea (beware it does not taste great, or good at all. But it isn’t going to make you gag. Think harsh black coffee)
Ginger root
Mullein leaf
Red Raspberry leaf
Lemon peel/squeezed lemon
Cayenne Pepper powder
Black walnut husk
Celtic Salt
Dried sea moss (I also straight eat this stuff raw, it’s salty)
Manuka Honey (I usually skip this)
Addition I add once a week: Tincture from Wormwood, clove, black walnut
Tincture from wormwood? You mean absinthe? Most ingredients you list are all health food store/amazon? Some are kinda confusing without a separating comma or two. But all info is appreciated.
I’m very familiar with absinthe, spent a lot of time in New Orleans. I wondered the same thing but never looked it up. Bottom line is wormwood is a great anti parasitic.
I get my roots and leaves from an herbal store near where I live. Some things I get from websites like iherb or direct from the company. I usually try to avoid Amazon for ingestibles, just in case it’s been sitting in a warehouse for too long.
Edited shortly after I posted, should be better now.
Probably sweet wormwood, artemesia annua. An extraction of this won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 2015 along with another one we all know, Ivermectin.
Why are you skipping the Manuka. It's wonderful stuff? I'm just asking.
Oh it is, why we have it. Because I hate sweet drinks. I’d rather just eat it
Gotcha fren
100% correct on wheat flour. Most have no idea. Oldest wheat known is Einkorn. Spelt is second oldest. Has 14 chromosomes while modern 'enriched' wheat flour has 44. The added 30 are from GRASSES and as we can not digest grass it causes all kinds of issues in man. They call it GLUTEN intolerance but ,,,,,,,
Go hit London Drugs, find Mestemacher organic RYE bread from Germany. It is cheap, clean and filling. Burnes fat when digesting btw. Enjoy.
Will try your tea, looks good. Thanks o7
Interesting on the bioengineering. I’ve only heard a little about the “gluten” catch-all. Good thing for me to deep dive now.
Is it just the rye bread that burns fat? I get sourdough buns from Aldi that are awesome. But wouldn’t mind getting bread that helps the gut trim down
Not 100% sure on your question but I do believe so. Personal (US) stationed in extreme below 0 temps (C) eat rye bread to burn fat as out door activities are limited. Been years since I crawled out of that hole :)
