Actual Maple syrup is already sky high, I guess I'll have to eat that artificial no sugar crap... heh
You could make your own if you have trees in your yard. It doesn't have to be sugar maple. Our neighbor taps his white maple tree. The local company we buy syrup from makes it from black walnut and hickory trees on their property. There are so many small companies making syrup here in the Shenandoah Valley, they do a tourist syrup trail every year.

I would think it might affect lumber prices, but then trump could open up blm land to logging and we could have cheap lumber and saw mills again...
I don't anticipate any real problems for our household with the Tariff situation. I made a joke about the Sugar free syrup because we got like 4 bottles.
