SadieX: When Canada talks about cutting off oil to America, let me break this down for you.
Below is a map of the pipelines that carry energy for Canada. As you can see many come into America. The one you need to pay attention to is the Energy East line. This was supposed to be built, but Canada's leftists canceled it because of "climate issues."
As you can see, the only way for the Western part of Canada to get oil to the Eastern part of Canada is to send it through America.
That's old school thinking. Trump is not the same as the rest of the clowns. It doesn't matter if oil industry goes broke. We want humanity to progress, not be stuck in the ice ages because people will lose jobs.
RELEASE ALL NEW HIDDEN TECH.
What you said is like saying "Trump wont force big pharma to release cures because it'll take down their industry"
Canadians got their panties in a bunch and I don't give a shit, America first, we have bank rolled them for too long. America and its people are sick of being the world's sugar daddy.
Newfoundland and Labrador has some of the largest offshore oil and gas reserves on the planet. We survived out here for 450 years without Canada and would happily do it again. Not sure how long Ontario and Quebec would last without Albertas oil though.
Oil Supplies to Ontario and Quebec
Ontario and Quebec primarily receive crude oil from two main sources: the United States and Western Canada.
For Quebec:
United States: In 2018, the U.S. supplied 52% of Quebec's crude oil, which amounts to 168 Mb/d (thousand barrels per day).
Western Canada: Western Canada supplied 43%, or 138 Mb/d, of Quebec's crude oil.
For Ontario:
United States: The U.S. is the largest supplier of crude oil to Ontario.
Western Canada: Crude oil is also transported from Western Canada to Ontario via pipelines, such as the Enbridge Line 9 pipeline.
The Interprovincial Pipeline System, now called the Enbridge Pipeline System, was extended to Sarnia, Ontario in 1953 and to Montreal, Quebec in 1976, facilitating the transport of crude oil from Western Canada to these provinces.
Part of the whiney lefts argument about the tariffs is that the US doesnβt have enough refineries and is dependent on Canada to do so. Is that a real thing?
The opposite. Canada does not have enough refineries to even satisfy its own market. So its piped thousands of miles out and Transported thousands of miles back all in the name of the carbon gods
Years ago I was at a conference in Canada- the Canadians in attendance (from all provinces) complained that every drop of Canadian crude is sent to the US for refining- Canada doesn't refine their own petroleum....
That is problematic for sure!
And guess who refines the oil and sells it back to Canada. Another example of what happens when the minority routinely steals the elections.

Trump knows EXACTLY what he is doing.
Yes- see Mexico and the newly promised 10,000 troops
Kek
I didn't know that. What a nice tid bit. Thanks
Wonder when he will finish the Keystone pipeline?
I wonder when they will release zero-point energy.
Never, it will upset the whole works, oil companies go broke? Not happening

Think bigger anon.
Everything around you is driven by oil, more than you know.
Yes oil is used in a lot of things. But there are alternatives too.
If we get zero-point energy released we can use the oil for non-energy stuff
Canadians got their panties in a bunch and I don't give a shit, America first, we have bank rolled them for too long. America and its people are sick of being the world's sugar daddy.
Eastern Canada buys much of their oil from places like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia via oil tanker.

Very true!

Venezuela used to be the hugest supplier- even for US, until the gov took over (muh socialism)

The opposite. Canada does not have enough refineries to even satisfy its own market. So its piped thousands of miles out and Transported thousands of miles back all in the name of the carbon gods
My understanding, based on convos with Canadians, is that they don't have running refineries now- all sent ex-Canada, refined and sold back
