Here is a list of the items Canada will be putting tariffs on: https://globalnews.ca/news/10993895/canada-counter-tariffs-full-list/
I was expecting manufactured goods and such, but I’m seeing a lot of staple food items in there. Poultry, dairy, grains? That’s going to jack up the food prices for Canadians something awful. A Canadian friend of mine says the dairy prices are already stupid up there, so I guess milk will be a luxury item now.
Also, can any economic gurus weigh in on this… with the bird illnesses currently damaging our chicken and egg supplies, wouldn’t these tariffs end up proving US consumers some price relief as Canadians will no longer be able to afford it?
just want to give my opinion here. the skyrocking price of poultry and eggs is not because of bird illness, It is caused because if one bird in 10,000 is thought to have the flu, the entire 10,000 are destroyed. This scenario has been posted on this forum with sauce many, many times.
murder most fowl!
Don't egg him on with your puns.
OMG! Nice reference! I love Margaret Rutherford! Agatha was the OG!

Burning it down was always his goal. A cursory look at the state of Canada confirms this
The Canadians, I believe, earn a good living their wages are high and it really doesn't matter what the job is. What I am saying is they can probably afford higher grocery prices as a lot of prices are extremely high there.
