I have fully reconsidered the utility of any store of value, means of exchange or fiat currency that is invisible or intangible. Making electricity a precondition of purchasing seems like something out of a Monty Python sketch.
Precondition to buy online or pay virtually but there will continue to be a necessity for a physical currency.
I could see a time in the future where devices will pull free electricity/energy from its surroundings with ease. When that happens we could then start
“”thinking”” about not having a physical currency. It will be a while before the wallet goes the way of the horse and buggy!
