I've seen a lot of information regarding Fenbendazole regimens, usually a dosage of 222mg once a day, 3 days a week, but I'm trying to find the equivalent for using Mebendazole.
My understanding is that while they are essentially the same (except for the latter being approved for humans), they are slightly different in formula, so I don't want to just assume it would be a 1:1 replacement. The only information I've found for an anti-parasitic regimen is either 100mg or 500mg (large disparity), and uses the "once, then again 2 weeks later" regimen typically recommended for APMs -- which does not seem comparable to the 222mg of Fenben 3 times a week.
Does anyone have any experience with Mebendazole or have any sources for more aggressive doses?
I'm looking at purchasing Mebex (Indian generic of Vermox) in 100mg pills from alldaychemist.
Thanks in advance.
It is also stocked by reynoldmeds, the India-based company.
How do you know you need it?
Since I consume massive amounts of hot peppers and smoke tobacco (parasites hate both) - I muscle tested negative for both ivermectin and fenbendazole.
I still did some anyway just in case...
I also eat copious amounts of capsaicin and smoke cigars, but unfortunately wasn't enough to ward against the goodies that kids like to bring into the home -- in this case, pinworms.
I've been using natural remedies (honey, papaya, garlic, etc), and I have Ivermectin, so I've been taking that as well, but Ivermectin isn't as effective against parasites like hookworms and pinworms (most studies I saw showed around 50-60% effectiveness with a normal APM schedule), so I figured it's a good excuse to do a heavy bendazole regimen.
Not finding much on dose, but it kills adults, so the second treatment 2 weeks later is to kick out the eggs that may have since hatched.
Check out Dr Thomas Lodi. He has a pretty aggressive parasite protocol. He has a ton of videos and he or someone from his support team on fb are great about trying to get back to you pretty quickly. Also Firstmedinc sells his protocol and has it listed and pretty good description on their website.
